Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to two or three senior professionals in the Individual Giving Division in the Office for Resources who are responsible for a full range of donor engagement, stewardship, cultivation, and thank-you events. Books venues, serves as a contact person for venues and caterers. Requests precise data from Development Services to produce, distribute, and track invitations. Manages calendars; makes travel arrangements; completes reimbursement requests; and other general support as needed. Answers phone and provide administrative assistance related to mailings, invitations, and acknowledgement letters. Provides high quality work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines.

Essential Job Functions:
?Provides administrative support, coordinates internal and external meetings/appointments, and manages calendars for senior professionals
?Books venues, serves as a contact person for venues and caterers.
?Requests precise data from Development Services to produce, distribute, and track invitations.
?Plans and organizes travel, makes appointments and coordinates all necessary material including research and briefings.
?Drafts briefings and composes and edits correspondence as needed.
?Other projects and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
?Prior experience in a busy corporate or non-profit environment required.
?College degree preferred.
?Excellent oral and written communication skills.
?Creativity, enthusiasm, strong hands-on work ethic, ability to multi-task, and willingness to take initiative and follow-up.
?Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
?Ability to practice discretion and maintain confidentiality, work independently and exercise solid, thoughtful judgment.
?Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work collaboratively, and an orientation toward customer service
?Flexibility and a good sense of humor.
?Commitment to the mission and goals of Wellesley College
?Familiarity with Windows-based systems, including tracking systems and databases and a high comfort-level using technology to communicate and share information

This is a non-exempt, full-time position wherein some night and weekend work may be required.
