Administrative core team member on two or more projects plus responsibilities for support of the Alliance Management group.
Provide support (clerical, general office duties and project duties) to Executive Director of Alliance Management and Project Leader, as well as other staff in the department as needed.
Act as central coordination point person for partnerships.
Working with Licensing & Business Development and Law, merge and maintain Contract Compliance Database module (both operational and financial).
Alert Alliance Management team for upcoming milestones.
Maintain tracking log of communications with collaboration partners.
Assist in coordination of internal and joint Alliance meetings as needed.
Update and maintain Alliance Management Intranet site.
Assist in development of Alliance tools such as training modules for self-learning and exercises for alliance members to develop skills.
Maintain calendar of alliance meetings.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Project Team Support Responsibilities:
Prepare, organize and maintain files of team correspondence and records.
Update and maintain Project Management Intranet for projects involved.
Maintain calendar for project team meetings.
Track learnings, issues, and bottlenecks.
Attend all team meetings, take minutes and action items and distribute to team.
Maintain appropriate team databases.
BS or BA degree is required.
Required Experience & Technical Requirements
Prior administrative experience in a pharmaceutical setting is required (Research & Development, Licensing and Business Development, Alliance Management, Project Management, etc).
Intermediate to Advanced technical competence in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Project, Visio and other computer applications is required.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process and terminologies is preferred.
Familiarity with the process of contracting and working closely with a Legal Team is preferred.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and work independently, project management experience is highly required.
Requires the ability to work with all levels within the organization as well as with external partners in a diplomatic and professional manner.
Ability to attend technical meetings, take minutes as appropriate, and transcribe for distribution.
