Executive Administrative Assistant
This administrative assistant position will provide support to the GA CIO, SCS Information Technology department and the System Distribution Portfolio. The position is based out of Georgia Power Corporate Office. The position supports the GA CIO and members of CIO Leadership Team. The role is responsible for administrative functions including but not limited to:
Employee Time Processing
Maintaining Managers Schedule and Calendar
Maintaining SharePoint Sites
Preparing Monthly Procurement Card Expense Statements
Planning and Organizing Meeting Arrangements
Making Travel Arrangements
Ordering Office Supplies
Filing, Faxing, Copying
Maintaining S Drive Access and Outlook distributions lists
Additionally, this position is responsible for invoice processing, budget preparation and tracking for office administration expenses, video conference and Conference Bridge scheduling, tracking Action Items, and other department specific requirements.
Job Experience and Education:
Five years experience in a secretarial/administrative position is preferred.
Work history supporting a large department is highly desired.
High School Diploma required. College degree is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Southern Company System such as iExpense, Budgets, and eSTARS
Ability to multi-task to organize, prioritize and perform activities from multiple personnel at various levels within the department, determine priorities and meet required deadlines with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook) strongly desired.
Administrative/clerical certification such as Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) or Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) is a plus.
Must qualify on pre-employment Clerical Test
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Flexible and able to adapt easily to changing priorities.
Proactive, customer focused and a team player and service oriented.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion and able to work with minimal direction.
Deliver assignments with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
