The candidate will be responsible for clerical functions supporting D545 Transportation Management. Duties will include, but not be limited to: the use of mainframe applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Lotus Notes to assist with Shipment of Hazardous Material as well as shipments to international destinations. Additional requirements may include entering data, producing work sheets, processing of bill of lading, shipping documents, distributing tab runs, data input for Shipping area, daily department mail support, historical record retention, filing, posting and delivering data or mail. The candidate should be fluent with MRP II, Lotus Notes and Microsoft products including some understanding of MSDS system.

Required Education/Training
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

A typing speed of 45 wpm is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required. Familiarity with DOT regulations as well as Electric Boat's policies and procedures is a plus.
