Advertised Summary Job Description

Reporting to the Professor of Business in the Management division at Columbia Business School, the temporary Administrative Coordinator will assist with outreach to clients and sponsors, manage the GLeaM website and does research for the website content. The incumbent will assist with the development of grants and work with social media tools. Responsibilities: 1. Provides outreach to GLeaM executive education clients and sponsors. 2. Supports the organization and execution of GLeaM executive education programs. 3. Manages content on the GLeaM website. 4. Builds GLeaM presence on Facebook and LinkedIn 5. Researches and assists in developing new content for GLeaM website and other promotional materials. 6. Assists with the development, submission, and management of grants. 7. Coordinates research and education logistics between faculty members, PhD students, and research assistants 8. Performs other administrative and research tasks as needed and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required. 2 years related experience required, preferably in a position that entailed business consulting, communications, marketing or research.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with business writing and editing is essential. Experience with website content management necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Office, and Powerpoint is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, Psychology, or related field strongly preferred. Graduate degree desired. Experience with budgets is a plus. Proficiency in Keynote presentation software and statistical analysis software is a plus.
