needed for small private non-profit organization, whose focus is on organ transplantation. We are looking for a person who takes initiative, has great organizational & interpersonal communication skills, works as an integral member of a small office team, provides attention to detail & has the ability to multi-task under deadline pressure. Demonstrated proficiency in computer use incl. QuickBooks, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Position reports to the Executive Director, and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
QuickBooks -AP/AR, reports, check preparation, maintenance of the chart of accounts, revenue & expense statements, etc.
Processing of payroll and benefits
Planning & preparation related to two Boards of Directors & four Committees
Coordinate various organizational events - meetings, networking, etc.
Assist in travel & meeting arrangements
Maintain corporation files & required filings
Candidates should have a degree with 3-5 years professional experience evidencing significant accounting knowledge.
Excellent compensation in the $40K+ range based on qualifications & past experience; generous leave package & benefits.
