Administrative Manager in support of the Director of the Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) Office at Kirtland, AFB.
The Administrative Manager will lead/manage Director’s Action Group consisting of Executive Administrative personnel supporting Director of ORS. This position will provide the oversight of high-level, executive, editorial and administrative support. Candidate must have the ability to foresee and respond to the immediate needs of the Director and delegate these needs to the Action Group. Daily interfacing with senior level Space and Missile Systems Command (SMC) and AFSPC staff is required. Must have the ability to perform and oversee support staff in drafting, transcribing, proofreading, editing and maintaining correspondence, reports and meeting minutes. Other duties may include responding to written inquiries, assist with the preparation, proofreading and editing of reports and proposals; maintaining on-line and hard copy filing systems and screening, prioritizing and following up on incoming phone calls.
7+ years’ of experience in supporting Flag/General Officer or Senior Executive Services Offices
Experience in managing or leading a team of administrative support
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications in the utilization and development of databases, spreadsheets, presentations and word documentation.
Demonstrated flexibility to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments in order to adhere to established deadlines.
Established ability to develop and maintain professional liaison relationships with a variety of individuals at all levels of the organization
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work well with others
Secret clearance Required
Bachelor’s Degree required
Proof of US citizenship is required
