The Administrative Office Manager serves as the primary support person for the director and central administrative functions of USC&A. The Administrative Office Manager manages the general office functions to include reception management, clerical support and supervision of student assistants. Other duties include, but are not limited to: Orders and manages administrative office supplies, office equipment and other functions related to Administrative office; Schedules personal meetings, group meetings, and other scheduling support for all staff in the Administrative office; Manages, arranges and coordinates all departmental staff travel; Will be expected to assist student organization travel as needed; Serves as the primary support person for all professional/faculty searches conducted by the department, and; Assists with database management, information management, fiscal transactions, and general office functions as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) and/or Competencies required to successfully perform the work: â?¢Computer experience with word processing, database and spreadsheet management. â?¢Extensive experience with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access is required â?¢Demonstrated ability to follow, interpret and implement oral and written policies/instructions. â?¢Strong organization and communication skills (oral and written). â?¢Ability to demonstrate initiative, to work independently and to work as a team member. â?¢Ability to work in a culturally diverse setting and with diverse populations. â?¢Experience with supervising part-time employees is required Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification required for entry into position: â?¢High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelorâ??s degree preferred. â?¢Significant full time administrative support and office management and/or fiscal management experience required.
