This is an administrative position where the individual p
erforms a combination of administrative tasks in various functional areas located throughout the Mobile Sensors Program.
It is directly related to management of program and customers operations and interacts on a daily bases with the US Air Force customer’s office personnel in matters that include administration of engineering, finance, security, and information technology projects and associated records maintenance.
This position requires an individual who is capable of working in a dynamic work environment across a broad range of program functions and has knowledge and experience performing duties in the following areas:
Air Force Equipment Custodian account management( including accounting for all PMEL and COMSEC equipment assigned to the Mobile Sensors program); Air Force computer services; preparing forms for turn in of material to the DRMO; e
xperience in computer related jobs such as network, internet, and database administration of Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System, Secure Internet Protocol Router Network and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network-based information technology systems; preparing manual timecards and additional payroll forms for submission to Finance Shared Services, .
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and experience in corresponding and solving problems for personnel serving in remote locations.
This position also requires extensive knowledgeable and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Power Point and Project.
This position requires the candidate to exercise independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance and will be e
mpowered to make decisions involving international travel and managing a budget of over $2M.
This position is primarily located at the Mobile Sensors Management Office on Patrick AFB in FL.
However, this position requires personnel to travel to ships in the CONUS/OCONUS for administrative support to our ships during maintenance periods.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
2 years experience in administering Air Force training and records maintenance.
2 years Experience in records preparation for disposing of Government property via DRMO.
Experience with managing an Air Force Equipment Custodian account.
An existing TS clearance that will support access to SCI.
4 years of administrative experience covering use of Microsoft suite with in-depth knowledge of Excel, Project and Power Point.
Experience drafting DoD messages.
Excellent communication skills.
High School and
8 years for administrative experience
but a BS in Administration is preferred and can offset some of that experience.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with US Air Force A
utomated Records Information Management System
- Experience with Privacy Act (PA) & Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) procedures
- Solid understanding of Operations Security (OPSEC) as well as IA/IT security as it pertains to Air Force computer and network systems.
- Working knowledge of the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) Directorates.
