The Administrative Supervisor provides direction and leadership to the Inpatient Nursing Department. The Administrative Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is directly responsible for the coordination and collaboration of all services to meet the needs of the customers of the Hospital in the absence of other administrative personnel.
. Two years of experience in a leadership capacity
. Current California RN license
, BLS required
. ACLS required
. PALS preferred
. NRP preferred
. BSN or equivalent
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE BASE:
. Strong interpersonal skills including teaching, coaching and mentoring skills
. Understanding of operational and capital budget management
. Independent problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making abilities
. Ability to facilitate small and large group problem solving and task completion
. Knowledge of JCAHO, State and Federal regulations
. Ability to remain calm under stress and work in an environment of frequent
. Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing professional practice and patient
. Proficiency in the use of a computer including hospital information systems
. Knowledge of quality improvement procedures, principles and tools

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital has proudly served as the sole healthcare provider for western Nevada County for more than 50 years.
