This position is located in the Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program. The employee is responsible for various administrative functions of the office, along with a wide variety of support functions such as travel, payroll, procurement, website maintenance, property management, and budget.

Serves as main purchase card holder for the Program; researches vendor catalogs, previous purchases, obtains price quotes, etc.
Transcribes data, maintains databases, and generates standard database reports.
Serves as accountable property officer, satisfying accountable property requirements and regulations by maintaining office inventory and records of accountable property.
Maintains office website to serve Program information to partners and the public; uses web editing/design software to regularly update site content.
Maintains accurate budget estimates for various accounts by preparing statistics on costs, expenditure rates, fund availability, etc; compiles budget and fiscal data; analyzes historical budget and financial data for budget preparation.
Other administrative duties include: correspondence, customer service, office management, and travel.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
GS-06: One year of progressively responsible experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-05 grade level is qualifying for GS-06) that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Performed assistant or technician work involved in carrying out administrative support activities including financial tracking, complex correspondence, website maintenance/editing, and procurement of an organization that involved application of procedures and practices within the framework of established guidelines.
GS-07: One year of progressively responsible experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-06 grade level is qualifying for GS-07) that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Performed assistant or technician work involving budget preparation and carrying out administrative support activities including complex correspondence, procurement, website maintenance/editing and design, and general office assistance of an organization that involved application of procedures and practices within the framework of established guidelines.
