Description and Desired Qualifications CH2M HILL Administrative Technician Jobs - Anchorage, Alaska The challenge? Helping ensure the supply of our world's oil and gas. At CH2M HILL, we deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the oil industry. Our Administrative Technician job will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting, large scale oil and gas projects. Each day, you will be an important team member providing administrative assistance and support for the North Slope including report preparation and correspondence, payroll, travel, invoicing and computer and IT support. You should be a self motivated, detail oriented professional with 3 years administrative, time-keeping, data-entry and/or payroll experience.

Our Administrative Technicians :
  • Perform daily time sheet entry for remote personnel.
  • Collaborate with North Slope to ensure accurate time coding.
  • Research and process necessary payroll adjustments.
  • Coordinate commercial business travel for employees including flight, hotel and car rental reservations.
  • Receive and code expense reports for remote employees.
Additional Information: Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided. CH2M HILL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g., H-1B visa, etc) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of administrative, time-keeping, data-entry and/or payroll experience
  • One (1) year experience working Office Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Access & Outlook)
  • Knowledge of PC computer systems including the following software: Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word. Experience in other software programs such as Microsoft Access, Power Point, and relational databases
  • Skills in communicating effectively orally and in written format
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with and process data using computerized spreadsheets and database applications
  • Ability to perform duties utilizing independent judgment
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal direction/supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment required.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured for driving company vehicles (applicants must provide a five year DMV record at the time of application)
  • Ability to work weekends. Work days are from Wednesday to Sunday

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in other software programs such as Microsoft Access, Power Point, and relational databases
