JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalency, preferably supplemented with at least two years of college; Four years accounting or bookkeeping experience; Demonstrated proficiency in computer software used to track and manipulate data records; Operation of office equipment including a computer and job related software such as Word, Excel, Access; Reconcile monthly bank statements and post interest to accounts; Monitor customer account collections; correspondence, and payment records; Perform administrative and clerical support duties as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will serve as a team leader to trouble-shoot various department-related issues/problems including Point of Sale, printer and CPU hardware; Maintain audit trail and ensure accuracy of work conducted or produced in the department including reconciling of bank deposits, student accounts and other information necessary for State and/or Federal reports;
Provide Food Service Software (WebSMARTT) training and daily support to site managers; Work with Vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
Problem-solve and interpret policies and procedures and serve as a representative of the supervisor or department in contact with other employees, schools, contributors, other district departments, vendors, and the general public.
