Champion Technologies has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant I at its facility located in Corpus Christi, Texas. In this role, the incumbent will provide general administrative support to District Managers and Sales Representatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the daily operation of the office, which will include mail and telephone reception, general office duties involving, typing, and record and file maintenance, documentation creation.
Responsible for Order to Cash processing in SAP including sales order entry, delivery creation, and invoicing.
Responsible for the administration and assisting with sales reporting and documentation
Maintaining relevant EDI information and processing EDI errors.
Working closely with customers and internal departments to resolve order and/or inventory issues.
Accounts Payable- electronic coding of invoices in Ariba and Works for PCards, Check Request.
SAP Purchase Order creation, Vendor request and maintenance.
Report and Process Month End transactions for accurate financial data.
Accountable for; collecting aged receivables, delivery receipt tracking, analyze and resolve miscoded expense charges on audit trails, create, track and finalize all AFE's , create and implement credit applications, new account partners, customer master data maintenance.
Provides general administrative support to the District Manager and Sales positions.
Generates and maintains confidential information and administer company policy and procedures.
Basic Qualifications ( special skills, knowledge, ability, education, etc.):
Two years of education beyond high school.
1+ years of previous experience.
Strong administrative, computer software and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications ( if any, specialized areas, additional certifications):
Strong administrative skills.
Strong organizational skills and multi task abilities a must.
