The ideal candidate has a comprehensive understanding of Hospital admission/registrations requirements. They will collect, verify, and review pre-admission information on potential patients and participate in the decision making process to determine if admission requirements are met. Verify insurance information on referrals. Support Utilization review/case management. Manage faxed in referrals and manage or assign referrals as appropriate. Assign room and doctor as well as coordinate the attainment of any special medical and equipment needs that patients may require. Work under the direction of Administrator and closely with the nurse manager/director and care management staff.
Bachelor’s prepared RN with Case management and insurance background experience.
