As an admissions coordinator, this position will coordinate the patient admissions process by providing a helpful, empathic reception to patients and their families. They would also expedite the admission/transfer process to ensure that the expectations of the customer are met and exceeded and that patient census is managed appropriately.
High school or equivalent and vocational or technical training required; Bachelor's degree desired; 2-5 years of admissions experience, office management or customer service required; 1 year experience with insurance and financial collections required; 1 year in a chemical dependency treatment setting desired.
