The purpose of this position is to assist the Admissions Coordinator in all aspects of the intake
and assessment process.
all phases of assessments and intakes, to ensure compliance with Department of
State Health Services and Joint Commission standards and regulations.
intake calls and schedules appointments for assessments in a timely manner.
with referral sources ensuring that the source is promptly notified of
admission and documents in easy step for follow up (with client’s written
Utilization Review team with insurance verification.
all admissions meet Texas Department of Insurance criteria.
with QCC on all admissions if not a qualified credentialed counselor in order
to ensure proper admission authorization is obtained.
High School diploma
One year of direct clinical care experience
Counselor Intern or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or other qualified
credentialed counselor equivalent
Experience with 12 Step programs preffered
