The purpose of this position is to provide screening, assessment, and intake duties to Spirit Lodge and to assist the Marketing and Clinical teams in accordance with standards of care set forth by TRS.

Responsibilities:
Answer intake calls and schedule appointments for tours, assessments, and admits in a
timely manner.
Lead Tours of facility to potential clients, their families and potential referents.
Screen callers to ensure they have financial resources for SPL and when resources are not
available, refer to other TRS facilities when appropriate.
Gather collateral information from previous providers when necessary.
Complete all phases of assessments and intakes, to ensure compliance with Department of State Health Services and Joint Commission standards.
Provide treatment team with pertinent information on all admissions.
Have a working knowledge of all TRS/Elements facilities to refer when appropriate.
Assist in arranging Transportation for clients and act as initial “point” person for all
admits and their families.
Provide disposition and referrals for all calls.
Provide daily updates to TRS/Elements Leadership on admits status and payor source.
Manage census, in tandem with ED, with a focus on payer mix to maximize revenue.
Assist in maintaining current and accurate database of referral sources through initial phone contact.
Track referral sources and develops metrics to assist Marketing team in their marketing efforts.
Assist in developing relationships with key referents on a local and national level and ensure their client’s admissions are expeditious.
Receive payment from incoming and extended clients.
Collect fees associated with self pay and insurance clients.
Post payments and add accounting notes in Easy Step.
Assist Director of Community relations at conferences, seminars and other special events.
Lead Big Book studies on a weekly basis at facility.
Assist in developing Easy-Step enhancements to create a more efficient admissions process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in chemical dependency or related mental health field required, Master’s degree
preferred
Four years direct clinical services experience including admissions with a minimum one year in a supervisory role
LCDC or other Qualified Credentialed Counselor equivalent
Experience with a 12 step program preferred
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
