USC's Gould School of Law is seeking a Director of Student Recruitment to join its team.
The Director of Student Recruitment is a new position within the Law School that supports the Graduate & International Programs department. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative working style. The ability to multitask is a
This position reports to the Law School's Director of Graduate & International Programs.
Manages recruitment and admissions efforts of the Graduate & International Programs office.
Establishes annual recruiting programs and admissions schedules for each of the department's programs.
Manages recruiting and admissions budget. Trains staff, assesses performance of recruiting and admissions work and provides feedback.
Sets goals and objectives for recruiting and admissions and measures performance against objectives. Recommends changes or enhancements to existing recruiting programs and admissions policies and practices based on feedback and evaluation.
Supervises staff who assist with recruiting and admissions on their assigned responsibilities. Reviews application files and makes admission recommendations.
Fields questions and counsels applicants on program queries, admission policies and application procedures.
Resolves difficult problems referred by others and provides expertise and guidance, as required. Provides policy interpretation and reviews and decides exception requests as deemed appropriate.
Develops and implements marketing plans, strategies and materials aimed at enhancing recruitment and conversion of targeted program applicants. Identifies marketing messages and ensures incorporation in presentations and publications.
Coordinates the participation of alumni, faculty, staff, and students in recruitment programs. Plans and provides communications, training, materials, scheduling and other logistical support to facilitate recruitment efforts.
Develops and administers the recruiting and admissions budget.
Plans and makes presentations as part of the department's recruiting/outreach efforts. Represents USC and assigned programs to prospective students, current students and alumni. Coordinates involvement of Law School faculty at admissions events to enhance recruitment and conversion efforts. Participates in and presents at law school and international program conferences each year.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Lead or supervisory recruitment and admissions experience with knowledge of financial aid policies
