Interviews patients, relatives or other responsible
party to obtain identifying and financial information. Makes
financial arrangements for required accounts.
A. Work Experience: Minimum of one year experience in
a hospital or related medical field. Must possess knowledge of office
procedures, including good telephone skills, medical terminology,
typing, insurance requirements and collection practices. Ability to
be responsible for all emergency registrations, obtaining information
needed, with the ability to communicate information to patients,
medical personnel, co-workers, insurance company representatives,
medical groups and/or interested parties.

D. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports
and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively,
