TITLE: Adolescent Program Coordinator
REPORTS: Program Director

The Adolescent Program Coordinator is responsible for the day to day clinical operations and coordination of services for an Adolescent and Transitional Age Youth 822 Chemical Dependence Outpatient Services Program. She/he is responsible for oversight of clinical services, guidance of all program clinicians and the direct supervision of designated subordinate staff. She/he is responsible for maintaining OASAS regulatory compliance, SAMHSA and other funder's requirements, and assuring that programs operate in accordance with Odyssey House organizational standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and monitor program systems, policies and procedures under the guidance and supervision of the Program Director.
Maintain good relations with and act as liaison to agency stakeholders.
Assure that all services rendered are compliant with Medicaid and other Funders reimbursement standards.
Provide supervision to clinical staff to assure maintenance of adequate and up-to-date records on all clients.
Schedule and monitor clinical and operational support coverage for Adolescent and Transitional Age Youth Program.
Assist Program Director with admissions procedures to ensure compliance with OASAS guidelines.
Monitor and review data submitted to HRA STARS and ensure timely submissions of subordinate staff.
Prepare all proposals and reports as needed, including input to the daily/monthly OASAS/ PAS reports.
Prepare monthly reports for the Program Director.
Demonstrated orientation and/or experience with A-CRA/ACC protocols, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other relevant Evidence Based Practices.
Prior experience with counseling adolescents and treating substance abusers preferred.
Education or experience in administering and interpreting clinical assessments
Provide clinical services input into the annual work plan.
Assures that all clinical program staff members are adequately trained.
Provides direct supervision for designated staff as per Odyssey House policies.
Prepare written annual evaluations on staff under his/her supervision.
Comply with all OASAS regulations and participate in the certification process.
Conduct regular clinical and administrative meetings with staff.
Participate in quality management activities including membership on the CQI team and assure that all services meet Utilization Review and Quality Assurance parameters in accordance with Odyssey House policies and applicable regulatory standards.
Other relevant duties as assigned by the Program Director.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Master's Level Clinical Degree preferred or Bachelor's Degree and 3 years administrative or clinical experience working with target population.
Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CRC, Ph.D., MSN, CASAC etc.).
Ability to provide appropriate clinical supervision to chemical dependence and mental health professionals.
Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Health Record and Outlook programs
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
