The Adoption Intern will work with the Child and Youth Permanency department to assist staff with the education of adoptive parents. The intern will have the opportunity to work with staff conducting home study assessments, IMPACT training, and identifying matches for adoptive families.
- A currently enrolled MSW student
- Interest in the Foster Care system
- Some educational courses or knowledge in family systems, child development, abnormal psychology , DSM diagnostic criteria
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
