This is a wonderful opportunity to work with patient’s families and staff in the PICU. This position will help coordinate care for PICU patients for a smooth transition out of the PICU, and early discharge planning. This individual will help coordinate care among providers and services and ensures that the needs of the patient population within the APN’s Case Management Team are met. The APN participates in the development of nursing and other professionals, the APN pursues opportunities for individual growth through professional activities. Demonstrates competencies defined in Advanced Practice Nurse responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth to 21 years, and select adult patients.


Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio required. Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Certificate of Authority in the State of Ohio required. Certification in critical care desirable for. Three years pediatric critical care experience desirable. Effective customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required for interaction with contacts. Professionally appropriate analytical and organizational skills required.


Must be able to see, hear, speak, read and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation and care for oneself, with little or no difficulty. Performance of principal duties and responsibilities may require ability to travel.
