The Advertising Administrator purchases and administers print and electronic advertising for Renaissance Learning to ensure continued long-term success and achievement of both brand and company strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Research and recommend new advertising opportunities.
Analyze and report advertising activity via Google Analytics (print and electronic) regularly to Marketing and Product Line Managers to ensure best ROI.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to implement new initiatives.
Answer outside vendor calls and establish vendor relationships.
Plan, schedule and monitor production of all advertising projects to meet critical dates.
Work closely with Copywriting and Design teams to ensure that all tasks (including specifications) and everyone involved meets deadlines both inside the Marketing department and with outside vendors.
Actively maintain and monitor print and paid web search activity.
Proof all advertising materials and ensure quality is met.
Track costs for all Ad campaigns.
Match appropriate vendor with the project to ensure quality standards and sensitive timelines are met.
Maintain Advertising archives according to RLI Records Management Policy.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical, and product knowledge.
Solid understanding of purchasing print and electronic advertising.
Self-motivated to prioritize and manage work load, and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
Ability to make strategic recommendations based on industry standards / trends and competitive analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to develop new approaches / solutions to complex problems while maintaining deadlines.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate Degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and advertising experience and analysis (especially with Google Analytics a plus).
