The Advertising Coordinator works directly with the Director of Advertising in coordinating job traffic flow, obtaining production estimates and completion of all collateral and print jobs.
Examples of duties are :
Obtain estimates from print and production vendors for all collateral, print and advertising jobs;
Maintain relationships with current vendors as well as seek out new production methods and vendors to ensure the highest quality and most cost effective product as possible;
Initiate and monitor all production and advertising jobs open within the department to ensure timelines are met;
Monitor and maintain all on-property signage and POP collateral materials;
Makes sure that all media and projects proceed according to deadlines. Proofreads copy and artwork.
Maintain open communication with all other departments to ensure their signage and production needs are met;
Various general office duties including handling of daily mail, filing, etc.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance;
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail oriented, self-directed and organized. Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and coordinate multiple tasks at once. Understand and comply with all company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Ability to perform basic math. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet. Basic knowledge of advertising and media buying process helpful.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Education : High school education or equivalent preferred. College degree preferred but not required.
Experience : One to two years of advertising experience preferred.
