This is a District Sales Management position which will require the employee to live in Des Moines IA, Omaha/Lincoln NE or in the Quad Cities, IA area. The employees who report to this manager will be working approx. 3-3.5 hour drive from this location covering their sales territories. If you do not currently reside in one of the above areas, you will need to be willing to relocate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Direct and manage sales personnel to sell print, shared mail and other services to current and prospective advertisers in an assigned geography by executing the MSpark 5 Stage Selling Process .
Direct and manage sales personnel to maintain market share and increase sales from existing clients in assigned geography.
Ensure that sales personnel meet all policies, procedures and deadlines to ensure efficient production of a timely distribution of MSpark’s products and programs
Conduct timely training meetings and accompany sales people on sales calls as necessary.
Manage the relationship between sales and other departments. Develop and maintain good working knowledge of all supporting departments.
Ensure the sales team’s strict compliance with all company policies and procedures. Execute collections and contracts by adherence to company guidelines and standards.
Responsible for Personnel Management Functions including hiring, training, evaluation, retention, discipline and overall monitoring of staff within the Sales District
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (measurements) of the sales team’s productivity.
Provide sales reports to management as requested.
Requirements for the Advertising Sales Manager include:
Previous related advertising sales experience needed. Direct Mail/ Shared Mail experience highly preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 Years of Advertising Sales Management Experience with remote team members
Proven Leadership Experience
Analytical; can develop strategic and tactical market plans
Outstanding Time Management Skills
Strong Consultative Sales Ability
Proficient internet and computer skills, especially in the MS Office suite
