We are looking for someone who has ambitions to eventually move into an outside sales position. The coordinator position is the outward facing sales support contact for advertisers and salespeople. This role provides sales support for a selected sales team and will be involved in all advertising scheduled: digital, targeted delivery and print. Work closely with an assigned group of sales people on daily activities. Contribute to the efficient operation of the department through assigned tasks. Consistently spend a majority of each day focused on the front line sales support duties: interaction with clients, prospects, and sales representatives. The process work for a multimedia sales coordinator includes: scheduling advertising campaign, requesting advertising creative, interacting with Finance for initial credit process, and interacting with the centralized back end sales support assistants team. This is a full time position with daily hours of 8:30AM - 5:30PM.

Manage advertising orders, insure that proper schedules are input and correct billing information is captured.
Oversee the customer service needs of each client being supported. This includes prompt communication on campaign scheduling changes, updates on artwork and getting the client set up on the eTearsheet system to demonstrate campaign fulfillment
Answer telephone inquiries and immediately mail or fax media kits to prospective advertising clients requesting such. Always maintain a positive working attitude with customers.
Provide back up support to sales people in their absence while continuing to offer assistance to other sales staff members.
High school diploma, 4-year degree preferred
2-4+ years of proven B2B customer service experience.
Previous experience in an office environment
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Media customer service experience is helpful.
High level of proficiency in computer skills including Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and advertising specific systems (Mactive AdBase).
Must have a sincere interest in the advertising sales function and a commitment to the customer/advertiser with a high level of customer service.
Demonstrate ability to calmly handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Requires extremely organized individual who thinks clearly under pressure and achieves high level of accuracy.
Able to shift priorities quickly, gracefully handle any interruptions and demands, while keeping track of numerous tasks that need to be completed on deadline.
Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational and time management skills to work in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment
Knowledge of advertising practices including production, processing, advertised rates, product profile, employee incentive plans, information and advertising systems, with the ability to apply knowledge to task for achieving desired outcome preferred.
