PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Advisor Services Associate supports the overall needs of the Advisor Services Group (ASG), specifically working with the Internal Investment Consultants and Regional Investment Consultants in providing high level service to advisors. In addition, this role services incoming client inquiries via 800 numbers, other TRP departments and the Financial Intermediary website.. Process development, documentation and implementation as it relates to team activities and TPD internal working relationships are also critical responsibilities of the role, in order for ASG to execute consistently and efficiently.
Reactive Service and Support – Provide high quality relationship management and service in response to inbound advisors’ client service needs and request, as well as advisor referrals from various sources. Maintain 800# call log and document interactions, manage the referral process. Role may also involve proactive calls as directed by manager for supporting marketing initiatives, encouraging conference participation.
Sales Support – supporting the needs of our sales teams in servicing the needs of their advisor relationships and assisting sales while they build and develop client relationships. This may include resolving operational issues, proactively contacting their advisor clients on service related issues, and providing competitive analysis from our Morningstar system.
Business Management - Project work and ad hoc requests for the Advisory Services team. This may include documenting and maintaining established processes, contributing to the onboarding and training of new associates, CRM data maintenance, acting as a point of contact for TPD internal contacts and Shared Services.
Proactive Service and Relationship Management – may establish constructive working relationships with advisors in our lower tier advisor relationships and those outside of the focused geographic regions as directed by Manager. The role aligns TRP resources (webinars, website tools, marketing materials, some meeting support, administrative and operational support) with world class service in order to build customer loyalty and satisfaction. The associate provides a high level of industry knowledge and familiarity of the advisor’s business strategy.
1 years of Institutional Sales/Client Service in Financial Services Company ; working with advisors
Series 7 & 63 licenses
College degree and two years of related work experience
Series 6 and 63 Licenses
High level investment/product knowledge
Great organizational and time management skills.
Strong productivity and ability to prioritize
Strong communication – verbal and written.
Ability to learn quickly; be proactive.
Work independently and in team environment.
Have a high level of client service and relationship management skills
