Help St. Jude say “Thank You” to our donors. Through personal appointments, telephone calls and correspondence, you will be responsible for contacting and cultivating relationships with current St. Jude donors and prospects. Share up-to-date knowledge of facts related to the mission, research and programs of St. Jude and what their contributions have allowed St. Jude to accomplish. By strategically managing your territory and portfolio, you will have the opportunity to listen to our current donors tell stories of St. Jude and what called them to give to the St. Jude mission. You will also work with our Legacy donors to help ensure they are able to meet their philanthropic goals, and use your fundraising and development skills to identify giving opportunities.

Responsible for Long Island, NY territory and portfolio to achieve organizational and departmental goals. This position will require a significant amount of travel to this assigned territory.


Ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations; to understand complex verbal or written instructions; understand data processing applications; ability to relate to older individuals; negotiating skills and listening skills; knowledge ordinarily acquired through Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years experience in social services, human services, or customer service related position. Development experience helpful but not essential. Good writing and telephone skills essential as is willingness to work with seniors. Basic computer skills required. Must be willing to be trained in the basics of planned giving and achieve the ability to communicate with donors on a conversational level; requires travel approximately 50% to 70% of the time, including some evening and weekend work. Must possess a valid driver's license
