The position(s) require a minimum of 1-3 years practical technical experience. Candidates must possess good conceptualization and analytical skills, skills in 3D CAD programs, and an understanding of industrial machinery and equipment. Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Daily contact with customers and upper management will be required, so strong communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Completing innovative designs from customer work orders, sketches, verbal descriptions, and self-generated ideas
Developing CAD models and detailed drawings
Performing engineering analysis of parts and assemblies
Completing and processing drawing revisions
Working within budgetary and schedule constraints
Attending design reviews
Reporting of progress/status to upper management
BSME or equivalent degree, drafting certificate, or relevant practical experience. Resumes for Junior and Senior experience levels accepted
Expertise in 3D CAD modeling and drafting, Catia V5 preferred
Experience with FEA software, ALGOR & STAAD preferred
