Consulting position with established management consulting firm specializing in affordable housing for low-income families. Associates work with project teams providing technical assistance, collecting and analyzing data and conducting management assessments or research. The position may also be assigned to assist in proposal preparation and marketing tasks and will receive assignments in cities where Quadel directly manages housing programs.
Illustrative duties include:
Collects and analyzes data, performs file and document reviews, and conducts surveys.
Assists in the writing, editing, and organization of work products, including reports, training materials, policies and procedures manuals, and funding applications.
Assists Director in the administrative management of large contracts. Duties may include preparing subcontractor and consultant contract documents, monitoring contract expenditures, communicating with subcontractors and consultants, scheduling contract work and meetings, and compiling and preparing management reports on work progress.
Assists in conducting research on HUD, congressional, and other industry developments; extracting information from web sites, including HUD, HUDCLIPS, and HUD USER; and interviewing clients and industry representatives.
Assists in coordinating and preparing proposals, including obtaining required information from team members, updating corporate and team member qualifications, assisting in the development of the scope of work, and editing the final product.
Assists in the preparation, maintenance, and updating of firm marketing material for proposals, brochures, website, and other promotional activities.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
2 years of experience with Housing Choice Voucher Programs.
Willingness to travel and/or accept long-term (e.g., 4-12 month) assignments working at Quadel subsidiaries in support of direct management operations.
