We are searching for an experienced Affordable Housing Coordinator to work for a large fast paced luxury apartment community in Cambridge, MA. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for leasing all apartment homes within the Affordable Housing Program at the apartment community, processing all paperwork associated with leasing and recertifiying apartment homes within the affordable housing program per compliances guidelines, qualifying households based on program criteria and completing periodic reports confirming program compliance.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include:
Interviews and reviews all affordable housing applicant and resident applications, leases and other related paperwork verifying accuracy and completeness and ensures that all billings are accurate and all monies are properly collected and accounted for
Ensures that all affordable housing program requirements and applicable HUD/Agency regulations are monitored regularly and are in full compliance with appropriate regulatory agreements and agencies, including waiting list, certifications, re-certifications and other reporting requirements.
Working consistently to optimize occupancy
Promoting the company's vision and demonstrating courteous communication & customer relations skills
Processing renewals and determining extended program eligibility
Providing administrative support to the entire property operation
To become a valuable member of our team, we require the following:
. Affordable Housing Program training and certification preferred
• 1-2 years of property management function experience (i.e. leasing, bookkeeping, operations)
• Working knowledge of fair housing laws
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience with Onesite is a plus.
• Ability to communicate well with residents.
• Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express & Internet Research.
• Associate degree preferred
