Title Resources Guaranty Company (TRGC) is a Texas Title Insurance Underwriter serving independent title insurance agents. TRGC has an opportunity for a licensed attorney with previous contract drafting and management experience to fill the role of Agency Operations Department Manager in our Dallas, TX office .

Job responsibilities include:
  • Drafting and negotiating agency agreements and amendments
  • Coordinating cancellations
o Drafting and negotiating agency agreement terminations
o Work in concert with audit team on shutting an agent down
§ Mutual Termination
§ Defalcation
o Maintain cancellation documentation
o Handle wrap up responsibilities (file storage, policy issuance, escrow resolution)
  • Working closely with Rates Rules and Forms (RRF) Department to coordinate “running the underwriter”
  • Onboarding Agents
o Secure agency interview (application)
o Maintaining and updating onboarding checklists
o Maintaining agency files in TRUE and hardcopies where necessary
o Pulling background and credit checks
  • Licensing and Appointing Agents
o Maintaining database on renewal dates
o Updating records in conjunction with audit department
o Cancelling appointments and terminating licenses when appropriate
o TX short form and long form preparation
  • CLE / CE training
o Coordinating efforts nationally with legal staff
o Maintain record keeping and record submissions to various entities
o Work closely with RRF regarding state requirements (“running the underwriter”)
  • Maintain agency databases for bulletins, alerts, etc.
  • Agent to Agent Referral desk
o Include production component over time
  • Lender Matters
o Letters of good standing / financial packages
o Secure policies / produce policies
o Blanket CPLs / Seller CPLs (coordinate with RRF)
  • Event Management
o TX ticket coordination
o Onsite logistics for events and training
o Coordinate activities
  • G Drive elimination / maintenance
  • Scanning Project
JD required. Licensed attorney with at least 3-5 years of prior contract drafting experience, 5+ years of experience in the Title Industry and proven success in managing a team is also required. Demonstrated ability to provide thoughtful and effective counsel on business issues to a management team. Strong executive communication and management skills. Clear results orientation and intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to manage and lead staff, coach and develop members of the team. Must be Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) proficient.
