In this position, you are an Agile Software Project Manager responsible for leading and guiding a software development team’s timely delivery of a quality product.
Deliver great products for our customers
Leads and manages a software development team
Works with the team to create an environment with purpose, autonomy and mastery
Works regularly with all functions of the organization in order to deliver great products on schedule
Works daily with the product manager, developers, QA, and other key product team members in setting product direction and strategy
Create and maintains a software release plan based on the needs of the project and team
Works with the team to identify and communicate risks
Works with the team to reduce risks (remove impediments)
Understands and balances the tension between up-front specifications vs. iterative and incremental development
Understand the products and how our customers work
Organizes and efficiently facilitates team communications
Organizes and efficiently facilitates cross team communications
Learns and stays current on the latest changes in how to effectively manage software development teams and software engineering methodologies
Required Skills and Background:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or closely related degree
2+ years software development experience writing or testing commercial software
2+ years project management experience on commercial software teams
Proven leadership skills in an agile software development environment
Experience with a variety of software development methodologies
Excellent organizational and management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
Self-motivated and thrives in a team environment

Preferred Skills and Background:
Experience managing product localization is a plus
ScrumMaster certification or experience is a plus
