Position Description

Air Force Senior Consultant, Solutions Architect will have experience in leading technical volume development for large complex DoD Task Order based Contracts. This role will require candidate to be responsible for coordination and project management of multiple subject matter experts in a variety of engineering disciplines on complex technical proposals. Additionally, candidate will be required to coordinate with internal resources and external subcontractor in development of technical proposals. Candidate must have experience with developing project plans, work break down structures and level of effort estimating for Federal Government Task Orders for professional services in support of information technology (IT) projects.

The Air Force Senior Consultant, Solutions Architect will be responsible for supporting capture efforts for the Netcents 2 NetOps SB task orders and developing the technical architecture and solution, supporting business development efforts and positioning of the company for the eventual awarded Task Order Contracts and will be the “book boss” for technical proposals supervising the development of the engineering solution.

Candidate will possess subject matter expertise or comprehensive knowledge in most, if not all of the following areas:
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • Network Engineering
  • Transmission Engineering
  • Software Architecture
  • Software Development
  • Service Oriented Architecture
  • IT Service Management (ITIL v3)
  • Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2-3
  • AF CITS and NM/ND experience
  • DoD PKI
  • AF & DoD Acquisition experience
  • Cyber Solutions, IA & C&A
  • Shipley Capture and Proposal Processes

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have the following work experience:
  • Master's degree desired
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in project/program management of the design, integration, implementation of Information Systems
  • Minimum of 10 in advanced engineering design, development and deployment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Government Information Systems Acquisition
  • Prior Military (AF) experience is preferred
  • Must be a self-starter with strong analytical skills and have the ability to communicate customer requirements to internal and external groups
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint is required
