Position Overview and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, the Air Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:
All aspects of compliance with TCEQ Air Emissions Permits issues for production sites including wells, batteries and plants.
Working closely with the Air Permit Engineer will ensure that the collection of data is properly scheduled and executed. After reviewing the data for validity ensure that it is submitted to the appropriate regulatory agencies.
Manage contractors to obtain the required gas and liquid samples and measurement of emissions.
Field support for design and maintenance of systems required for emissions control.
Implement program for ongoing monitoring of sites and facilities to comply with permit requirements.
Proactively develop and execute appropriate compliance programs for evolving regulations
Develop the required data collection program at sites and then monitoring and analyzing the data.
Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in oil and gas operations.
Require a working knowledge of the Air Emissions Regulations in Texas.
Excellent computer skills in systems such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Access are also required.
Self-motivator with strong organizational and communication skills.
Able to understand regulations, interpret data requirements, plan and schedule work and communicate it effectively in group environments.
Results oriented and highly motivated
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player.
