The Global Alliances unit of the Core Markets SBS seeks an Applications Engineer. You will contribute to and help drive the team that works in channel marketing with ADI's technology/business partners in adjacent markets, e.g. processor, FPGA, sensors and complementary software companies. You will help drive one of the more exciting aspects of ADI's connectivity strategy, both working with state of the art technology from ADI and gaining exposure to our partners' development teams and leading technology.

You will lead teams of electrical, firmware, software, design verification and test engineers to bring a board level product from concept into mass production. Projects will include SDR FMC boards, Catalina and other instrumentation and wireless designs.

You will contribute to roadmaps, point-of-view presentations on market and technology directions, product definition, risk definition and management, schedule development, master project schedules, management of external engineering partners, strategy development, intellectual property management, competitive awareness and investigating new technologies for driving improvements in ADI's ecosystem.


BS/BSE in computer science, electrical engineering, or technical disciplines, or equivalent related education/experience.

10+ years related and progressive technology experience with at least 5 years in a senior technical leadership/mentor role.

Demonstrated technical expertise in successfully handling the design challenges of developing scalable and reliable solutions, which includes hardware, documentation and support. Experience in shipping high quality hardware platforms on time across numerous ship cycles.

Track record of success in leading, coaching, and motivating teams of highly talented individuals dispersed across business units, geographies and from various cultures. Highly effective at influencing, managing without direct authority.

Demonstrated excellence in oral, written and presentation communications; collaboration and interpersonal skills.
