Working from your in territory home office, and traveling throughout the Alabama territory, you will develop and manage dealer/distribution channels network focusing your attention on primary care sales.

You will call on customers and distributor and dealer management to promote and sell a large and varied product line including monitoring, ophthalmic products, ENT, Blood Pressure and Cardiopulmonary, as well as EENT supplies and other physical assessment products to primary care and ambulatory care medical facilities.
In this distribution channel management role you will partner with current established distributors' sales representatives, providing training, motivation, and supervision to enable maximum sales of current and new products. You will be demonstrating, selling and in-servicing medical equipment to physicians and staff. You will work with Medical Schools and Optometry Schools to educate med students on Welch Allyn diagnostic equipment.
As a Welch Allyn sales professional, you will utilize your track record of successful sales and profitability growth to increase new sales within the territory, preparing an annual budget, delivering to targets, developing sales plans for specific opportunities, and coordinating with technical and applications support, when needed, to facilitate sales, or sell repair contracts where appropriate.
You will also leverage marketing communications to create optimal promotional, advertising and trade show activity to enhance company and product visibility.
You have a Bachelor’s Degree and solid medical manufacturing experience through distribution sales, or at least 8 years of outside sales experience in the medical industry. Your experience selling medical and/or capital equipment (with connectivity) is desirable. You have an ability to motivate distribution partners to success. Your outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational, problem solving, facilitation, and presentation skills are essential for success. [EK01][*LI-EK1]
