Scope of Position:
Works in conjunction with supply chain team, PLM and plant planners to plan and execute to a high level of customer service and cash flow performance. Leads plant capacity meetings to understand and identify any issues with supply based on current demand forecast. Supports the development of VSM’s for assigned product lines. Works in conjunction with the plant to implement inventory management strategies and track performance. Drives consistency and sharing of best practices related to supply planning. Provides direction and vision to direct report in the America’s OCS regional planning team.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Leads segment of the Americas OCS Supply Chain Planning group covering multiple product lines. Facilitate plant capacity meetings and follow up on resulting action items Insures effective communication with Global counterparts to realize global flexibility Support Demand Management meetings as required for products Support Regional Partnership Meeting Support development and execution of Agility plans Balance Supervision and individual responsibilities as required to complete tasks on time Coordinate activities with plant and global resources to maximize speed and flexibility Work with forecasting team to assure provide best possible MPS to plants Assure effective implementation of planning strategies to optimize inventory and customer service metrics Support monthly RRABC item reviews ensuring optimal MPS settings and inventory targets aligned to the project framework Execute VSM for key product lines from supplier to customer and drive resulting actions Support cost saving initiatives Participates in product team meetings as required
Travel Requirements: 10% domestic and international
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40hrs/week - 1st shift
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain major preferred)
Required Years and Area of Experience: 6+ years of Supply Chain Experience
