Position Specifics: Applicants will be responsible for information systems analysis, operations, loading, integration and training of DOD standard software system on surface ships, submarine and ashore facilities. Applicant must have an understanding of Server - Client systems with experience with Window Server 2003/2008. System administrator experience with either Windows, UNIX, or Solaris based Operating Systems. Experience in one or more hardware platforms e.g. IBM, HP, Dell. Familiarization with one of more of the following DOD systems / software for example Compose, Centrix, WSUS, DCGS-N, ADNS. Have one or more, or capable of obtaining, the following Information Assurance certifications; A+, Network+, System Security Practitioner or Professional, Global Information Assurance Certified, Security +, Security Certified Network Professional within 2 months. Prefer candidates with CENTRIX, Compose and Windows server 2003/2008. Must have a Security + certification.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Applicant will be responsible for information systems analysis, operation, loading, integration and training encompassing one or more of the following areas of technical expertise: PC application analysis, Server application analysis, Server Operating System operations, upgrades, loads and configuration processes, systems integration, and related disciplines.

Basic Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors; 7 years relevant experience with Masters. An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a HS diploma may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree requirement for this job. This experience is in addition to the relevant years of experience listed with the job’s education requirements. Example: If this job required a Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience the equivalency would equal HS diploma + 9 years job related experience.
