Aggregated
Metadata Management & Operations (AMMO) has the broad responsibility to
work with key stakeholders throughout SPE to address SPE’s emergent metadata
issues. AMMO is the business owner of GPMS, SPE’s centralized title master and
intellectual property management system. AMMO is responsible for ensuring
availability of all required titles (and associated metadata) and developing
metadata models and system enhancements to meet the varied requirements of all
downstream users.

The
ANALYST

will work on on-going operations and
strategic projects which facilitate the aggregation, entry, transformation,
preparation and/or correction of key title and version metadata.

The
ANALYST will engage in audit and compliance projects to ensure the accuracy and
cleanliness of GPMS data. This position may also analyze, define and document
business practices & procedures and manufacturing workflows, to support
WPF’s metadata transformation initiative.

The
ANALYST is a person excited about being at the forefront of an emerging
specialty in the entertainment landscape; a person that understands consumer
behavior (data driven) and evolving trends with respect to content consumption
and emerging platforms. This role will have the ability to be nimble,
recognizing when to pivot strategy in an always evolving digital landscape, to
take advantage of industry trends.

Research, compile, and complete Title
metadata in SPEs master title management system

-

Use
corporate reporting tools to pull/analyze data, clean or correct data, and
identify trends and opportunities; prepare executive summaries for management
review

Support
strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations for current workflows and
identify key opportunities for standardization and efficiency

Collaborate with AMMO team to develop
new research projects.

Support executive management on a
variety of strategic initiatives, presentations, brainstorming sessions, ad hoc
management requirements, etc.

Actively solicit feedback from a
variety of stakeholders, encourage suggestions for management and personal
improvement, and contribute appropriate ideas for improvement in other groups
as well

Cultivate and master a comprehensive
understanding of the studio’s lifecycle, its business stakeholders, the
business drivers, strategic growth plans, etc. Understand AMMO’s activities and
priorities in relation to the studio’s core business activities.

Participate in brainstorming sessions
around proposed metadata structures and business rules.

Engage in

on-going operations and strategic projects which
facilitate the aggregation, entry, transformation, preparation and/or auditing
of key title and version metadata. Activities include, but are not limited

to:

Research,
compile, and complete Title and version metadata in SPEs master title
management system

Leverage
corporate reporting tools to identify inaccurate or incomplete metadata

Leverage
corporate reporting tools to analyze data and identify trends and
opportunities

Design
and implement process changes based on audit and compliance results

Participate in strategic team discussions,
contribute to operational activities of other AMMO teams, etc., including:

Be
actively engaged and participate in business discussions and skill
development exercises

Identify
opportunities based on SPE business requirements; engage in continual
stakeholder discussions to validate AMMO activities

Participate
in brainstorming sessions

Identify
& escalate issues, as needed, to management for review

Qualifications

Required
Skills

·

Ability
to utilize corporate reporting, Business Intelligence and Analytics tools
(e.g., Business Objects)

·

Experience
entering, parsing, QC-ing, and analyzing data

·

Extreme
attention to detail and strong organizational skills (including ability to
multi-task and adapt)

·

Understanding
of the studio content lifecycle and familiarity with supply chain management

·

Dedication
to the solicitation of 360 feedback and implementation of management and
personal changes in response to feedback

Ideal

Preferred
Skills

·

Previous
experience with master data management (MDM) solutions, data dictionaries, MDM
business process creation, etc.

Strong
Excel skills, including proficiency with SQL, VBA, and advanced Excel
functionality

·

Familiarity
with SPE inventory, knowledge of technical media terminology preferred

·

Knowledge
and understanding of the pioneering world of new media, digital workflows, and
related technologies is desired.

Bachelor's
degree preferred
