Lead for team of Business Class commission coordinators.
Coordinates the collection of data required to calculate commission payments. Maintains workbooks as needed to support commission processing. Assigns and oversees duties of commission team. Audits commissions to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures. Trains and coaches commission coordinators as needed. Resolves payroll discrepancies and functions as the HR/Market liaison regarding payroll uploads and reconciliation. Supports team and management to improve overall customer care. Prepares commission reports for Finance department and for other departments as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
Review and have a solid understanding of all compensation plans supported.
Interface with departments regarding commission plan rollouts and clarification.
Run reports from billing systems and databases to identify commissionable metrics.
Manage all reports and workbooks required to calculate commissions.
Update applicable commission systems as needed.
Assign and oversee duties of commission team.
Coach commission coordinators as needed.
Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date procedure manuals.
Ensure accurate and timely payments of commission and incentives.
Review and validate all calculations, obtains required approvals, and submits commission payouts for final processing.
Maintain filling system for all commission/incentive records.
Serve as primary liaison to sales channels regarding commissions.
Research commission variances as requested by management or commissioned employees.
Perform staff support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, and policies.
Develop and distribute standardized commission reports.
Provide analysis of commissions to management to provide an understanding of financial impacts.
Perform other analysis and special projects as requested.
Must be proficient with Word, Outlook, CSG, ICOMS, and Salesforec.com and possess an advanced skill set in Excel.
Must have strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, be able to learn quickly, and apply knowledge as needed to adapt to changing priorities and to develop alternative solutions.
Must be able to make decisions in qualifying sales orders for commission payment in compliance with department policies and procedures.
Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment under deadlines as required.
Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills and a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers, employees, and the company.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to payroll.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred.
Two to five years commission processing and/or financial analysis experience preferred.
Experience in Telecommunication industry preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
Lead: Assigns, trains, schedules or oversees work of others.
