The Analyst, Customer & Category Insights will provide
reports, analysis, and insights to the Retail Sales Team
and Senior Leadership Team in support of key sales and
profit initiatives. This position will play an integral
role in achieving the goals of the Customer & Category
Insights Team and overall Business Development Team.

  • Generate reports utilizing syndicated data sources
such as IRI, Nielsen, or retailer POS data
  • Create templates and executive summaries to track
sales and profit performance by channel, division,
account, and SKU for the water and/or wine portfolio
  • Take responsibility and initiative in understanding
overall category and competitive trends
  • Produce fact-based selling stories to support key
sales initiatives
  • Present actionable category insights to the sales
team, senior management, retail buyers, and/or
distributor partners as needed
  • Assist with pre and post analysis of retail sales
promotions and national channel marketing programs
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed by the Retail
Sales Team and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Work collaboratively within the Customer & Category
Insights Team to establish best practices for
reporting, analysis, and insights

Job Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in business related field (General
Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, etc.)
  • 1-2 years work experience or equivalent internship
experience; CPG and/or Retail experience preferred
  • Ability to integrate multiple data/analysis tools
and approaches to identify opportunities for growth
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with
the ability to interpret and articulate key
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to present both internally (team, senior
leadership) and externally (retailers, distributors)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize in a
fast-paced environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and
  • A self-starter who takes initiative without being
  • Positive attitude with a team mentality
  • Generally inquisitive mindset
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
  • Customer service mindset to ensure internal/external
partners receive quality sales support
  • Willingness to travel to sales and customer
meetings, planning workshops, etc. (approx. 10%)
