In addition to clients, the digital marketing industry itself is not only demanding more accountability, but also enhanced sophistication and creativity in the development of both quantitative and qualitative measurement frameworks. The cost of entry to satisfy such high demands requires an intimate knowledge of the nuances of digital tracking technologies coupled with adept data management skills. Excellence in solving current-day challenges requires the deployment of such expertise in creative and business-relevant methods that marry marketing and technology.
The Analyst , Digital Marketing Analytics is an integral part of this process focused on providing support in media/web analytics, reporting and analysis, marketing scorecards and data integration/hygiene. The position is relied upon by client and team members to assist in the procurement and development of solutions meeting data and analytics needs. In so doing, the Analyst is a critical role in enabling OMD to elevate the level of sophistication, accuracy, validity and creativity of our clients’ digital measurement strategies.
Reporting & Analysis – Efficiently developing reports and as well as crafting insightful analysis that tells a story understandable to clients that is actionable in driving a set of recommendations that produce demonstrable improvements/results
Marketing Scorecards – Supporting the population and analysis of marketing scorecards, maintaining KPIs, working with a variety of data such as competitive, buzz, ad-serving, rich media, web analytics data, budget/planning data, attitudinal data, etc.
Data Integration/Hygiene – Accurate execution of combining multiple data sets, developing databases for analysis, and troubleshooting data integration and hygiene issues—this includes a strong level of experience with Excel – The ability to understand relational databases and database schemas is a plus especially at senior levels
Familiarity with Digital Marketing Technologies – Grow expertise and share knowledge of digital marketing technologies and their analytical/business uses. Some of these technologies include ad-servers, web analytics, and data management technologies
Leadership – Being proactive and creative in the development of client solutions and impactful analysis. This includes educating both clients and fellow OMD colleagues on new methodologies and sharing actionable insights.
Teamwork – Professionally and collaboratively coordinating with internal client teams, internal departments, partner agencies, clients and vendors layer additional analysis and insight
Presentation – Effectively sharing and presenting new methodologies, tools, and learnings to both clients and fellow OMD colleagues
Bachelor's or Master's degree in the marketing, statistics, engineering, computer science, information science, social science or business-related fields with technical and project management skills
· Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
· Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple efforts
· Proactive, organized, dedicated, team player
· Experience with or knowledge of some common digital marketing analytics tools or methodologies. Listed in order of least to most advanced: Excel, Display/Rich Media/Video Ad Serving, Web Analytics, Attitudinal Research, Relational Databases, Large Data Management and Warehousing, Social Media Analytics, or Digital Attribution
