Under the general direction of the Corporate Director of Document Imaging Systems, serves as the secondary resource for the Electronic Medical Record/Business Office System. Responsible for assisting the Director with system monitoring, troubleshooting and customer support to ensure ongoing satisfaction to all system users. Also participates in all software development testing, user training, development of policies and procedures and other duties as required.
Minimum of High School graduate with 4 to 5 years of related experience which included experience in a medical record environment.
System knowledge of McKesson's Horizon Physician Portal, Patient Folder, Horizon Business Folder, Image Link Engine and associated applications a plus.
Experience in database management and report writer processes in a network environment a plus.
Previous leadership and electronic medical record experience a plus.
Must be willing to travel (50-60%).
Additional Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of PCs, MS Windows and Healthcare Information Support.
Strong interpersonal communications skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with classroom training or one on one instruction a plus.
