The

Analyst, Risk Management & Insurance

is responsible for the oversight and administration of all casualty claims for the organization. This cost management role would consist of pro-active claim management for casualty claims by providing analysis on each open claim, as well as devising and implementing resolution strategies that have a positive impact on the file. On a secondary level, this position will provide transparent and reliable claim reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to corporate management and our business unit leaders. In addition, this role will also provide assistance with other departmental risk management objectives including the use of our Risk Management Information System (RMIS) to conduct analysis of claims data, insurance policy document management and retention, general insurance program administration, and special projects.

Responsibilities

Workers Compensation Claim Management

Education and training of Wyndham employees

Coordinate with all parties to include human resources, operations, loss prevention and adjusters/brokers to proactively resolve open matters effectively

Schedule, attend, and lead claim resolution discussions for claim reviews at carrier’s regional claim offices

Develop and distribute periodic reports

Ensure data integrity

Monitor trends

Administer Wynsurance application

Adding new locations

Managing user base and user access levels

Support and train all users on application functionality

Track and monitor Certificates of Insurance

Manage insurance policy digest process

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or a Business-related field from an accredited Business program

Additional Qualifications

Experience and/or internship in Risk Management function preferred

Knowledge of insurance claim process, specifically Workers Compensation claims, preferred but not required

Ability to work under pressure and possesses good written and oral communication skills

Applied knowledge of standard office desktop systems and applications.

Candidate must exhibit ability to work in team environment
