Kinray, Inc., A Cardinal Health Co ., is seeking an experienced
candidate to perform system operations, provide end-user tech support,
troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity, create/maintain documentation, perform HMC
tasks. Will be trained on IBM pSeries.

  • Overnight shifts and weekends are required.

Accountabilities in this role
IPL, Backup & Recovery Create and change User
Profiles, as requested Authorize Users to programs,
as requested Monitor system messages Work with problems and report
them to IBM Provide iSeries technical
support to end-user community Submit End Of Day Processing Report Distribution Check FAX status & ROE
duplicate orders Print Shelf Labels; print
barcode in-house labels, as requested Wave APS routes when
requested. Perform Coldstart/Warmstart
processes on P-Series Operator Web Interface. Troubleshoot the Conveyor
system for issues with Sick scanners at various stations. Troubleshoot LS9208, LS4208
and WT-4090 scanners in warehouse Troubleshoot HP Thin Clients
for configuration, hardware and communication issues. Troubleshoot Zebra printer
hardware, media, ribbon, configuration and settings. Configure and troubleshoot
Pick slip printers at station Change toner, clear paper
jams and troubleshoot network connectivity for various printers throughout the
warehouse and office. Replace local and LAN
printers when necessary. Place service calls with the
appropriate service provider, including PEEM support Cross-train with iSeries
Operator to ensure coverage is provided in the event of absences Support Telxon devices. Comply with all Operations’
Standard Operating Procedures accordingly

Must be able to work night
shift, day shift and/or weekends IBM i Power OS knowledge High School diploma required
undergrad preferred or equivalent experience 2 years of related experience Strong communication skills Computer skills required Can quickly grasp and learn
new technologies
