The Hotel Social Media Analyst will manage the daily listening & engaging within review sites for Hilton Worldwide hotels, leveraging, drafting and providing response to reviews in both English and Spanish as appropriate. The Hotel Social Media Analyst will evaluate emerging business issues and trends and follow the reporting and escalation path as needed for the business. Additionally, this position will be responsible for recording and reporting publishing times and working to improve quality and submission-to-live turn-around time. The Hotel Social Media Analyst must have superb written communication, grammar, and spelling in both English and Spanish

What will I be doing?

You are specifically responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Day-to-day listening & engaging within the social space, leveraging and responding as appropriate including creating a reporting and escalation path

Partners closely with the various social media governance, listening and support teams to ensure alignment with corporate initiatives

Uses social media to influence corporate initiatives including promotions, hotel products and services

Stays abreast of current social media tools and identify and interpret social media trends to continue to deliver on social media objectives

Proactively researches hotel unique selling points, area attractions and overall market to respond promptly to online reviews

Stays abreast of all review and social channels including cutting-edge technology, systems and opportunities and makes recommendations for implementation within eCommerce department and hotels

Tracks reviews received, written, posted reported issues and performance and report to senior leadership monthly

Ensures quality of response and funnels to appropriate team for follow-up or corrective action as needed.

Proactively communicates and collaborates with internal customers to analyze needs.

Works independently and collaboratively with contributors, including eCommerce Managers, PR, Social Media Strategist, Brand and Global Online Services

Raises issues on posting consistency and suggests alternate approaches to verbiage and configuration.

Works cooperatively with eCommerce Managers and team members. Develops and shares Best Practices, test results and any other information which may improve the performance of the overall department.

Conducts research and compares competitive set against Americas hotels including but not limited to TripAdvisor Rank, Customer Service Index, Retailing, Mentioned Hotel Features and more.

Continuously analyzes hotel performance against standards to determine whether the hotels are on target to reach goals.

Provides monthly, quarterly and ad hoc performance reports to all stakeholders and adjusts activities and plans as necessary to achieve goals.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

High school diploma

Two (2) years prior work experience

One (1) or more years of Social Media, Public Relations, or Brand/Reputation Management

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions

Four year college degree strongly preferred

Hospitality experience

Bilingual with written and spoken fluency in English and Spanish.
