As project director of the LIFT Study, the Director will be responsible for overseeing all day to day activities of the research project. This includes managing IRB submissions, organizing team meetings, keeping meeting notes, management of all research assistants and field data collectors, overseeing subject recruitment, intervention implementation, team productivity and accuracy in data collection. These responsibilities include regular visits to each data collection and intervention site and direct observation of all research staff. The director will work closely with the PI in managing the study budgets. The Director will also lead or co-lead biweekly team meetings with the RAs. Finally, the Project Director will assist in grant writing as well as manuscript and PowerPoint presentations.
Job Qualifications Masters degree or greater preferred. 5 or more years experience with research. 2 or more years experience with team management. Outstanding leadership and organization skills, with a proven track. Record of successful project management. Excellent skills in team building and management, written and oral. Communication, project management, and budget management. Strong writing skills. Experience in managing budgets and expenses. Bilingual Spanish and English strongly. Strong skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Skills in data analysis with SAS or STATA. Experience with Filemaker Pro.
