Maintain and complete accurate laboratory notebooks.
Perform data analysis, investigations, data trending and other project-oriented activities.
Bachelors degree in chemistry or related science with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Understanding of theory and practice of analytical techniques, in particular chromatography (HPLC, GC, GPC, TLC) is required. Knowledge of thermal analysis (DSC, TGA), spectroscopy (MS, FTIR, UV-Vis), particle size analysis and wet chemistry is beneficial. Proficient in using data acquisition and analysis software.
Creative problem solving skills, innovator, goal oriented, ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary team structure. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong computer skills required. Pharmaceutical and cGMP experience is preferred.
Candidate must display strong interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational abilities. The ability to communicate effectively and interact with multi-disciplinary teams is required.
Occasional overtime, shift work and weekends will be required. Up to 20% travel required.
Frequently use a computer keyboard, PDA or other electronic and laboratory equipment and devices.
Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at volume levels consistent with interpersonal or group conversations. Ability to interpret the letters and numbers when viewed on a personal computer screen, PDA, reports and other documents.
